The WWII Generation left us a legacy of immeasurable worth: bravery, the total mobilization of a people for a greater good, and, above all, Freedom. The veterans are not just figures from the past; they are our greatest proof and our living legends. It is for them that I fight to ensure their sacrifice and struggle become an eternal memory.
In my opinion, the new generation has a moral obligation to internalize this struggle and sacrifice. Honoring the WWII Generation is not limited to commemorative dates; it is reflected in our modern behavior, our decisions, and our dedication. Keeping the memory alive is not just an act of gratitude, it is a necessity for the development of our character and our nation. My encounter with the history of the war came as a true calling. It is a deep feeling that fills me and motivates me to embrace all organizations dedicated to this cause such as the Lee Enfield Rifle Project, led by the friend Jay Hawkins. I carry the personal dedication to take their story and truth forward, as I feel an obligation to be a bridge for this memory.

Dedication to this memory and carrying this feeling of honor demands action. The Royal British Legion (RBL) is the most vital channel for keeping the veterans' memory and dedication alive, as it offers continuous service to them and their families. Contribution to the RBL, whether through study, volunteering, or support, is the minimum we can do. It is the most practical way to pass this torch to future generations and touch them with this sense of duty and honor.
Gratitude to veterans is a feeling that fills the heart and motivates all our obligations. They are the living legends who attest to the validity of everything we stand for. Honoring their fight, supporting the RBL, and dedicating oneself to telling their stories is the fullest way to ensure that their sacrifice is never in vain.
